Fruit Production Supervisor

This is a permanent, full-time position suited to hands-on leaders who thrive in our outdoor working enviroment and know how to get the best out of a team.
What you'll be doing: Performing and supervising operations
Overseeing worker actvities to ensure production meets quality expextations and targetsManaging,motivating and developing your team to increase performance and efficiency
Maintaining daily operational reports, worksheets and time records
Auditing the harvest crew and process to uphold quality standards
Tracking and maintaining KPIs as required by the business
Co-ordinating in-orchard and in-field activity across teams
Ensuring staff comply with company policies,procedures and all relevant compliance requirements
Ensuring the business and staff comply with occupational health and safety guidelines at all times
What you'll Need:A newzealand qualifications framework(NZQF) Level 4 qualification in a relevant field- Or at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a comparable role.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced,physically demanding environment.
Familiarity with operations, seasonal production cycles and health & safety compliance in primary industries.
Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
Excellent time management skills, Ability to engage and motivate teams and also language skills needed.
Good initiative to work unsupervised at times.
What we offer: $30.00 per hour
