About the Role:**

Our client, a leading directional drilling company based in Cambridge, is working on a key wastewater pipeline project for Olam Foods in Tokoroa, including work at the wastewater treatment plant. They're seeking an experienced Certified Drainlayer** to join the drainage crew and support this important civil infrastructure work.

Key Responsibilities:**
  • Install, maintain, and repair civil drainage systems to project specifications
  • Work closely with directional drilling and civil teams for smooth project delivery
  • Read and interpret engineering plans and site documentation
  • Operate drainage tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards on site
  • Perform physically demanding outdoor work
Candidate Requirements:**
  • Current Certified Drainlayer license with civil drainage experience
  • Experience with wastewater pipelines preferred
  • Strong knowledge of drainage materials, tools, and safety protocols
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to early starts and extended hours
  • Good communication and a team player mindset
  • Physically fit for outdoor work
Work Schedule:**
  • Monday to Friday: Depart Cambridge yard at 6:15 AM, finish by 5:15 PM
  • Saturdays: Day shifts with variable times
  • Transport provided daily between Cambridge and Tokoroa
