The role:
Is for a trade qualified welder fabricator with solid experience in the heavy transport industry - a switched on, fast moving, self starter who can hit the ground running! We're looking for a senior tradesman - you'll have a supportive team around you, but for the most part you'll be expected to work independently without anyone holding your hand.
You'll be capable of reading plans and fabricating parts as well as carrying out general repairs and maintenance, all in a timely manner. A naturally positive person, you'll enjoy problem solving and take pride in a job well done. Great teamwork, customer service and communication skills are important pieces of the puzzle too, as well as time management, organisation and the ability (or willingness to learn) to use SimPRO to manage your jobs.

What we are looking for:
- NZ L4 engineering trade qualification
- Proven New Zealand work experience
- Ability to read and understand plans
