About the Role
We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator to join our client based in Albany in Auckland. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 08:00AM - 04:30PM (or similar - we can be slightly flexible with this if required). Please note this role has an immediate start available.You will report to the Site Manager and work alongside a small team.
Duties will include:
- Operating a Forklift Truck as well as a Reach Truck
- Picking and packing orders
- Stretch wrapping
- Palletising
- Moving materials
- General cleaning of the yard
- Regularly lifting 20kgs of product
- Loading and unloading trucks
- You must have a valid Forklift license
- You will ideally have Reach Truck experience and a license
- At least 1 year experience operating a forklift truck
- Good communication and be able to work alone and in a small team
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Able to regularly lift 20kgs
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Keen attitude to learn and get involved
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
