About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Radiology Services at Waikato Hospital.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of our imaging services through effective workflow coordination, resource management, and daily operational oversight. You will work collaboratively with both clinical and non-clinical teams, technical staff, and senior leadership to support high-quality patient care, service performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Team/Service
Radiology services at Waikato Hospital provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services to support patient care across Waikato hospital and wider district. Operating in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, the team supports both acute and planned care services while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, operational efficiency, and positive health outcomes.

About you
You are an experienced operational leader with a strong background in healthcare service delivery and a passion for leading high-performing teams. You bring excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
You will be confident working collaboratively with clinicians, technical staff, and senior leaders to support effective service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership style is inclusive and proactive, with a strong focus on patient experience, staff engagement, and operational excellence.
To be successful in this role- Proven experience in operational or service management
- Experience within radiology, diagnostic imaging, or hospital services would be advantageous
- Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing resources, workflows, and service performance
- The ability to lead change and drive quality improvement initiatives
