We are looking for an experienced, talented and reliable cook to provide wonderful meals and home baking for our residents. Three days per week (currently Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and relieving. Hours of work are 6:45am till 5:15pm with a 45min unpaid meal break.
The successful applicant will have professional experience cooking home-cooked meals for up to 70 people, and Unit Standards 167 and 168, or be in the process of working towards them.
You will be confident at providing:
- Individual, tasty and appetising meals for our residents, with an emphasis on simple, wholesome home cooking
- Home baking
- An efficient, hygienic and smoothly running kitchen
