We’re looking for a Carpentry Apprentice to join our South Canterbury (Timaru) team. This role is ideal for someone who is genuinely interested in building, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to learn from experienced tradespeople on quality projects.
More than anything, we’re looking for the right attitude, someone who turns up, gets stuck in, listens, learns, and takes pride in what they do.
As an Apprentice Builder, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards your NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4). We’ll cover your apprenticeship training fees so you can focus on learning and growing without the added cost.
What you’ll be doing:- Learn how to complete construction tasks to a high standard
- Develop the skills to read and understand building plans and layouts
- Support the team on residential and commercial sites
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Complete your learning units and training requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
