MÓN is a seven day a week food producer with a high volume Café, Restaurant and a separate Artisan Bakery located in the centre of Havelock North village.
We are looking for the best Bakers, Senior Bakers and Patisserie Chefs, to help take our business to the next level. Our new premises will be one of the largest cafes/restaurants in Hawke's Bay; cafe by day and asian fusion restaurant by night.

- Patisserie Chef
Responsibilities:
Baker / Senior Baker – Prepare a wide variety of bakery goods such as Artisan Sourdoughs, Breads, Pies, Pastries, Slices, Cakes, Cookies etc (Diploma in Baking preferred). Must be knowledgeable and experienced in Bakery food. Training and Apprenticeships available.
Patisserie Chef / Pastry Chef – Prepare a wide variety of exceptionally presented goods such as Cakes, Desserts, Torten, Gateaux, Pastries, Semifreddo, Chocolates and Gelato etc following traditional and modern recipes (Diploma in Patisserie preferred).Must be knowledgeable and experienced in Patisserie.
Expectations for All Roles:- 5 days a week and required to work Saturday and/or Sunday*
- 40 hr week (Minimum of 36 hours/week)
- Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand (AEWV available for Chef Roles)
