Parts Advisor

Jim Wright Nissan is an award-winning Owner Operator Dealership located opposite the Base and have been in business for over 25 years.
We are looking for a Parts Advisor to join our busy parts team. We want a solid performer, who has an understanding of the automotive industry who can deliver great customer service and works well in a team. Someone who has an eye for detail can think outside the box and will go the extra mile for our customers.
Our Brands, Nissan, Renault, Jaecoo & Omoda
General information- Hours are 8.00am till 5.00pm Monday to Friday (an hour for lunch)
- Will have to work one Saturday a month 8.00am till 12.00pm (rotating roster)

- Quoting on Parts Trader crash jobs, so a knowledge of the IAG Parts Trader system would be an advantage. This will be the main focus of this role.
- Working closely with panel beaters on crash jobs and parts ordering.
- Identifying parts in the electronic parts catalogue. We use EPC and Dialogys parts systems.
- First point of contact for Trade customers, Our service department and Retail customers.
- Offering accurate parts knowledge and advise to customer both internal and external.
- Entering and invoicing of stock
- Help unpack and dispatch of some parts orders when required
- Visiting customers, dropping off parts and building customer relationships
- Over lapping with the service department. Helping counter staff in busy moments.
- Automotive knowledge
- A great phone manner and excellent communication skills
- Sound computer skills
- Not afraid to ask question, Problem solving.
- Work well under pressure.
- Have an attention to detail.
- A clean New Zealand drivers licence
- Work well as part of a team.
- Parts Trader Knowledge would be an advantage.
