Financial Accountant

• Senior Financial Accountant, building processes, support system implementation
• Experience working in Audit, BAS or Financial Services industry.

Our growing and successful investment company requires a senior Financial Accountant to play a critical role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, monthly reconciliation processes, management and board reporting, data analytics and creating dashboards.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the CFO to ensure alignment of financial processes across systems.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation processes.
• Management and Board reporting.
• Consolidate financial statement preparation and support annual audit.
• Improve internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Process borrower and investor discharges in borrower & investor sheets in Xero.
• Process settlement drawdown of funds.
• Process top-ups and extensions for borrowers and investors.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations in Xero.
• Process principal repayments to investors and confirm payments.

We are looking for a chartered accountant, proven track record of financial reporting, management reporting and auditing. Experience in property finance or financial services is desirable and solid understanding of reconciliations, invoicing, and payment processes.
