Class 4/5 Truck Drivers

We are looking for a class 4/5 truck drivers who are also capable of physical labour to join our team on a full-time basis, minimum 30 hours per week. This role will see you loading and driving class 4/5 trucks, delivering reinforcing steel and mesh to our customers, in addition to helping our production team in the factory.

The successful candidate would complete deliveries mainly in the Auckland and Waikato regions, alongside occasional deliveries around the North Island.

Reliance Reinforcing Limited is a growing reinforcing steel company based in Ohinewai. We specialise in supply, cutting, bending, and prefabrication of reinforcing steel.

• Demonstration of safe and responsible driving, including but not limited to; observing speed limits, signalling appropriately and getting adequate nightly rest
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact respectfully, friendly and professionally with a diverse customer base
• Great work ethic
• Ability to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Valid class 4/5 driver’s license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Hiab experience would be ideal; however, training can be provided
• Good physical stamina with the ability to handle manual tasks, such as loading and unloading
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in outdoor conditions
• Be capable of verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries
