Heavy Diesel mechanic
This Heavy Diesel Service and Repair workshop is looking for their next experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team and make an immediate impact! Role:
This role will be perfect for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic who has solid experience in the truck, trailer & equipment industry and a thorough knowledge of all things servicing, maintenance and repairs. From transport trucks and trailers to diggers, graders & rollers, there'll be no shortage of variety in your work day.
This role is predominantly workshop based but does offer field work too, fixing breakdowns for their loyal clients on site when needed. If you are looking to be based in a workshop but able to get out and about during the day this role is for you.If this role sounds like you get in touch!
Backed by major civil companies here in Canterbury and off the back of a strong 2025 they have plenty of work locked and loaded for 2026! This role is available for the right candidate to start immediately as they have work coming out their ears.
What we are looking for:
- NZ Certificate Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Technician
- Solid experience in truck and trailer/heavy earthmoving servicing and repairs
- Strong understanding and appreciation for H&S
- Ability to think on your feet and solve complex problems
- Great teamwork and communication skills
