Truck Driver and Forklift Operator
YOUI HOMES is a well-established Auckland based home building and maintenance service Company. We always provide high quality services for clients by our high- performance team with great customer service attitude. As our business develop, we urgently need 2 full time experienced truckdriver and forklift operators.
You will be expected to work at different sites throughout Auckland region from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be expected to perform on weekends as well.
Job Description for This Position- Drive long distances to deliver construction materials to worksites
- Safely operate forklifts to move construction materials between receiving, storage and working sites.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper placement.
- Refuel and clean forklift and vehicles.
- Follow company policies, facility traffic rules, and traffic laws at all times.
- Inspect forklift and trucks and record issues.
- Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
- The role also requires some manual labor work.
- Have working experience in Construction material delivery for minimum 2 years;
- Have Class 2 Drivers License or equivalent License, and the ability to reverse a Class 2 Truck with a trailer to facilitate bulk goods delivery
- Good physical condition is essential, as the job may require lifting and moving heavy items.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure safety and accuracy in handling materials.
- Have a solid understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and team spirit;
This is a permanent full-time role and the competitive hour pay rate depending on experience, from $28 to $30, stable more than 30 hours and opportunities to upskill and advance your career.
