About the Role
You'll be part of an experienced crew delivering major electrical works on an exciting long-term project. Your role will focus on industrial installation, cable management, panel wiring, and instrumentation - ensuring systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest standard.This is hands on site, ideal for an electrician with experience in heavy electrical environments.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality industrial electrical installations from start to finish
- Run and secure cable trays, ladders, conduits, and containment systems
- Complete PLC panel wiring, instrumentation terminations, and 3-phase connections
- Install and commission control panels, MCCs, and switchboards
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and loop diagrams
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults quickly and safely
- Guide and support apprentices and trade assistants on-site
- Current EWRB Practising Licence, Site Safe, and EWP ticket
- Minimum 5 years' commercial or industrial experience, preferably in infrastructure projects
- Strong technical skills across 3-phase systems, PLC wiring, and instrumentation
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team
- Full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport
- Proven commitment to safe work practices and delivering high quality outcomes
