Cook

Our Cafe and Restaurant is located in Whangarei. We require a Cook with PIE baking experience.

Location- Whangarei, Northland

Your basic duties shall be:

• Prepare raw ingredients.
• Cook thee food quickly and efficiently.
• Arrange food on plates or wrap takeaways.
• Give instructions and demonstrate cooking methods to others.
• Create new recipes and plan menus with the Chef.
• Order food supplies, organise deliveries and restock shelves.
• You should be able to meet the customer deadlines.
• Serve customers as and when required.
• Ensure the food is presented to customers in a timely manner.
• Ensure the kitchen area is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Support the FOH staff.

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience or at least Level 5 qualification in Commercial Cookery.
• The ability to follow recipes and instructions.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, stock rotation and food storage methods.
• An understanding of food allergens.
