Supervisor - Christchurch
Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supervisor to provide leadership and guidance on our Christchurch maintenance team. The Supervisor will take ownership of project outcomes and teams doing the actual work, ensuring that they are delivered safely and successfully, with a focus on service and quality.
About the role:
- Reporting to the Capital Works Manager, you will deliver maintenance projects within time, budget and program parameters, and to the client's satisfaction.
- You will work closely with Council representatives
- Manage effective project teams and sub-contractors
- Ensure the health and safety of you and your team to the highest standard
- Work alongside managers and stakeholders, and manage client relationships
About you:
- Have at least 10 years' experience managing large groups of people and/or projects
- Project management and financial management exposure will be beneficial
- Having an understanding of different types of machinery and the safety working operations will be beneficial.
- Must have a full clean driver's license
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with others
- Strong financial acumen
- Proven ability to effectively manage teams and sub-contractors
