Care on Call is passionate about supporting people in the community and we take pride in the personalised service we deliver to clients and the staff we work with.
We are looking for caregivers/support workers who can empower our clients and help them achieve their goals. You will join an existing supportive and caring team who look after our clients with their daily tasks, social activities and work commitments. This includes but is not limited to:
- Personal cares (showering, toileting, dressing)
- Passive exercises and stretches
- House work and meal preparation
- Driving client's in their vehicle to get to appointments, work meetings and community/social events
- A current, clean full driver's licence
- The legal right to work in NZ
- Minimum of Level 2 Health and Wellbeing qualification (or equivalent)
- Weekend/outside school hours availability
- Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients
- Energetic, initiative, and a good sense of humour
- Great communication skills
- To be reliable, punctual, honest and caring
- Proactive and 'can-do' attitude
