  • Based at Kensington Centre - Timaru Hospital
  • Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 5pm

About the Role

The primary purpose of the role is to deliver coordinated comprehensive, and person-centred case management for individuals with moderate to severe mental illness. This includes assessing needs, developing and implementing care plans, connecting service uses with resources and monitoring progress to support recovery independence and improved quality of life.

About you

We invite Registered Health Care Professionals such as Registered Nurses/Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Social Worker to consider this role, that have recent relevant clinical experience within mental health. Experience with completing comprehensive assessments, risk assessment and interventions for service users with moderate to severe mental illness is required for this role.
Other success factor for this role includes;
  • Current NZ Registration and APC
  • Mental Health experience in a similar setting
  • Culturally responsive practice
  • A post graduate qualification (desirable)
  • A Current New Zealand Drivers Licence is required

Salary Range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the relevant HCP Collective, and the Pay Scale, determined on relevant experience.
