Cardiac Physiologists are responsible for performing cardiac tests within their defined scope of practice, which demands extensive practical and technical expertise in understanding cardiac arrhythmias and their mechanisms. Key Responsibilities:Perform a range of physiological assessments including, but not limited to, ECG, pulmonary function tests, and other diagnostic procedures.Interpret test results and provide clinical reports to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.Participate in the development and implementation of new clinical protocols and practices.Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and trainees.Participate in ongoing professional development and attend relevant clinical meetings.

About you As a Cardiac Clinical Physiologist, you will have:Current APCPost Graduate Diploma in Medical Technology (MTEX) or equivalentCertificate of Cardiac Physiology (CCP) or equivalentRegistration with the Clinical Physiologists Registration BoardRegistration with the SCTBachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification.Experience in performing and interpreting a wide range of physiological tests in a clinical setting.Practice and further training completed, demonstrating a high level of clinical competence in a specialty area (Electrophysiology and/or Devices).Ability to teach, lead & and mentor developing staff in area of specialityStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.A commitment to delivering the highest standards of patient care.
