About the Role:
- Fabricating & MIG welding.
- Variety of Projects throughout the Construction Industry.
- Working to production schedules & deadlines.
- Working hours from 7am-4.30pm
- Minimum 30hrs Guaranteed
- All applicants must be in NZ and have a valid visa to work in NZ.
- 3 to 5years of New Zealand experience in fabrication & MIG welding (Flux Core & metal Core) structural steel experience essential, welding qualifications are a benefit. Most of our projects are required to undergo NDT.
- Materials: 3-50mm wall thickness steel.
- Overhead gantry crane experience essential.
- Written and verbal communication skills are important.
- Time Management, Ability to work on tasks individually and as a team to meet deadlines.
- A high regard Health and Safety keep your workspace clean and tidy and care for tools and equipment.
- Welding and fabricating structural steel assemblies.
- Reading and understanding assembly shop drawings.
- Cutting and welding with a variety of processes.
- Completing required documentation.
- Daily checking and routine maintenance of equipment
