What we are looking for:We are currently seeking a Pharmacist to join our experienced dispensary team at Unichem Rolleston Central Pharmacy. We're looking for someone adaptable to change, a problem solver and able to build relationships with their team and patients.
You will be passionate about learning and training up in new services.
Your role will include:
- Conduct final clinical check on dispensed medications.
- Work closely with the Retail/Dispensary team to drive business and develop a business strategy
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
- Provide professional advice and consultation to patients regarding their medications, potential side effects and proper use.
- See areas of improvement for efficiency/accuracy, and can openly discuss these with your team.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Provide immunisation and other services in store (Unichem Health Hub services, Standing orders, and early care interventions).

Applications for this position should have:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy in B.Pharm from NZ
- Current APC, with New Zealand Pharmacy Council
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit
- Current qualifications or keen to work towards being accredited in ECP, OC, MUR, OS, Nitrofurantoin, CPAM’s, standing orders and Vaccinations.
- Knowledge of Toniq Dispensary Software is essential.
- High attention to detail and exceptional accuracy
Working Hours: Hours negotiable (Part time or full time) Monday to Friday (plus rostered Saturday per month)
