Fixed-Term Cook – Peacocks Early Learning Centre (Epsom)

Peacocks Early Learning Centre in Epsom is looking for a friendly and reliable Cook to join our team on a fixed-term basis from 15th October to 1st December 2025.

We’re a passionate, Reggio Emilia–inspired childcare centre that believes in nurturing children through meaningful experiences — and that includes healthy, home-style meals made with care.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea for our tamariki, following our set menu and ensuring dietary needs are met. You’ll also help maintain a clean and safe kitchen that meets all food safety requirements.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience cooking for children or in a similar setting

Understands food safety and hygiene standards

Has a compliant Basic Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate

Is organized, efficient, and able to work independently

Enjoys being part of a friendly, supportive team

Has a warm, positive attitude and a love for children
