As an apprentice you will be fully trained to carry out workshop tasks including maintenance inspections, repairs and general labour duties. This entry level role is about learning core mechanical skills while supporting day to day workshop operations with the end goal of becoming a fully qualified diesel mechanic.
What we are looking for:- A genuine enthusiasm for mechanical work
- The ability to listen, follow instructions and problem solve
- Good computer skills and strong written and verbal communication
- A willingness to learn with a motivated and adaptable attitude.
- NCEA level 2 Maths and English is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
- Good character references
