Quantity Surveyor

We are expanding and currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a part time role for two days a week initially, with the potential to expand to further work/role development. We are open to contractor applications for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes for drainage and earthworks projects, materials, labour, and equipment use
• Budget management across various projects
• Tendering evaluation and letting of contracts
• Project administration including sub contractor agreements, progress and variation claim management
• Back costing, invoicing and supplier price checking

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor - minimum of 2 years experience in a quantity surveying role
• Thorough understanding of construction industry methods and processes (drainage and plumbing is preferential), materials required/knowledge and costing
• Ability to work well both independently and alongside team members
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
