Logistics and Maintenance Supervisor / Truck Driver
We are a medium size firm in the structural steel industry seeking a motivated and reliable person to operate our transportation side of the business.
The successful applicant would have the following attributes:- Class 2 full drivers licence
- Current or has had a forklift safety certificate
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instruction
- Ability to work independently where required
- Good physical fitness and health
- Excellent punctuality and flexibility of work hours
- Ability to travel outside of Christchurch, sometimes overnight. (Expenses covered by us).
- To have experience in or around the construction industry
- Experience with cranes, hi-abs, EWP’s and other machinery
- Knowledge of Christchurch and surrounding area
- Collection and delivery of steel and machinery from various suppliers and job-sites around Chch
- Co-ordinating and keeping records for vehicle and machinery maintenance with management
- Assist with yard organisation
