Job Description
We are a very busy cafe in Waitakaruru which is on the corner of highway 2 and Highway 25 leading to the Coromandel peninsular. We are 20 minutes from Thames, 1 hour from Auckland, 1 hour from Hamilton and 1&1/2 hours from Tauranga.We need a cook to replace Bridget, who is moving towns.
You will have experience of cooking menu items such as burgers, salads, breakfast such as eggs benedict as well as preparation for service. You must be able to work as part of a team, be efficient and able to take orders
Lunch is provided and as much coffee as you can drink!
You will need to have a van for sleeping in, but we provide a shower/toilet and common room with T.V. as well as a small kitchenette and there is plenty of room to camp in privacy.
There is plenty of work available and up to 8 hour shifts, no night work.
