Childcare Centre Cook

Bright Horizons New Zealand Childcare Drury is seeking an enthusiastic experienced cook to join our team on a permanent part time basis 30-35 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Our service provides morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for 20 - 30 children per day aged 6 months to 5 years.

• Planning menus for children that offer variety and are healthy
• Prepare and serve healthy, well-balanced meals and snacks for children
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
• Adhering to the food safety program, all food safety and hygiene standards
• Ordering food online
• Adhering to children's food allergy and dietary requirements

• Previous experience as a cook in a childcare setting or similar catering environment.
• Knowledge in menu planning, nutrition and preparing food for children.
• Excellent communication skills
• A food safety certificate
• Motivational, initiative, reliability and willingness to be a valued team player
