We are currently seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers to join a major civil project in Hastings.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a large-scale infrastructure project with a company that values safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
Location: Hastings/Napier, Hawke’s BayStart date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $34–$38 per hour (paid weekly)
In this role, you will be operating Class 5 truck and trailer units across active civil worksites. You’ll be working with a professional crew for a significant project, contributing to essential infrastructure works in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Class 5 truck and trailer units, including tippers and bulk haulage vehicles
- Transporting aggregates, soil, asphalt, demolition waste, and heavy machinery
- Performing on-site duties such as spreading metal and controlled tipping
- Manoeuvring in tight, active work areas
- Operating Road Ranger gearboxes across varied and challenging terrain
What We’re Looking For:
- Full Class 5 NZ Driver Licence
- Road Ranger experience essential
- Proven experience with jack knifing
- Experience operating tipping trailers
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- WTR endorsements preferred but not essential
