We have permanent full-time role available for a Qualified Agricultural Mechanic and Team Leader to join the Woodleys Group.
The Role
You will be responsible for assisting with the management of staff in the field plus operating and maintaining modern agricultural equipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring the fleet is available, dependable and safe for operations working closely with our Workshop Manager.This will include all repairs & maintenance, mechanical diagnostics and servicing of all Agricultural vehicles and implements with emphasis on grasslands and cultivation gear.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- An agricultural mechanic or fitter qualification with minimum 3 years' experience required
- Proven experience and understanding of modern agricultural machinery
- Pride in quality workmanship
- The ability to work flexible hours to meet seasonable demands
- Be organized and systematic
- Be able to work alone but also enjoy being part of a busy seasonal team.
- Leadership experience
- A full NZ Driver's licence and relevant machinery endorsements (a class 5 licence would be advantageous).
