About Us:Join the Southland Multicultural Trust, a dynamic organisation committed to promoting cultural diversity and inclusivity. We are seeking a part-time Events Coordinator to play a key role in the efficient functioning of our operations and events.

Position: Event Coordinator (15 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:- Planning, promoting, and executing events and programmes.
- Administrative support and financial management.
- Committee support and meeting coordination.
- Volunteer development and management.
- Collaboration with the management team and Board of Trustees for strategic planning.
- Facility management, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
- Proven experience in event coordination and administrative roles.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to cultural diversity and community engagement.
- Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel and financial reporting

- Flexible part-time schedule of 15 hours per week (some weekends included depending on events); (hours may increase for big events such as the Food Festival).
