About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for permanent full-time social worker. You will be working at Waikato Hospital with the Acute Social Work Team. This team has a roster that covers seven days a week, with emergency department cover to 11.00pm. This role is to support medical social work team Monday to Friday, but may, when required, support other acute Waikato Hospital wards when needed.This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled social worker to apply their skills, knowledge and understanding to a varied caseload, coordinating care and providing therapeutic interventions, solutions and advocacy to identified psycho-social needs.Click here to view the position description.About the Team/ServiceAs part of our Health NZ family, you’ll benefit from learning and development opportunities to support your career progression.Our Social Work team covers the Emergency Department, Critical Care, Medicine, Surgery, Women's Health, Paediatrics, Older Persons & Rehabilitation, Renal, Oncology and Community.
