**About the role**
We are looking for casual Night Porters and Duty Managers to work in our villages in East and South Auckland. You will join a well-run team ensuring a safe and secure environment for the village and our residents. You'll be responsible for general cleaning, security and completing related administration duties.This is a rewarding role where you make a difference to the lives of our residents who call Metlifecare home.
Some of the great work you will be doing includes:
- Patrol the village site ensuring a safe environment for our residents
- Answering emergency call outs and call for assistance from emergency services
- Assist with night care needs of our residents
- Provide direction as necessary to residents and visitors
- Actioning administration duties and general cleaning on the premise
**About you**
To be successful in this role you'll enjoy fostering and maintaining relationships with our residents, be able to remain calm and make decisions under pressure and have an honest nature.- Experience working in security is highly desirable
- Have a current First Aid
- Physically able to support our Residents in any emergency
- Be super organised and self-motivated
- Have good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have impeccable personal presentation
