You'll play a pivotal role in the design, configuration, development and maintenance of specialist and high-impact software systems that support the critical functions of the NCSC. You'll also be able to build and maintain strong relationships.In addition to this, we'd like to see the following in your application:Analyst Systems & Security A tertiary qualification, preferably in a technical discipline (e.g. system engineering) or proven equivalent experience.
Experience maintaining Network infrastructure, and working knowledge of Linux systems. Ability to implement under guidance security controls with a good understanding on how to mitigate threats. Experience with DevOps and GitOps automation technologies.
Senior Analyst Systems & Security Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) or proven equivalent experience. Expert knowledge and experience of Linux administration. Advance knowledge of Network Infrastructure including contributing to the design, implementation and management of Enterprise Network.

An advance understanding of security controls and how to mitigate threats. Advance knowledge of containerization, virtualisation and cloud platforms. Technical leadership in medium to large network projects.Before you applyWorking within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.You must: Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 yearsORHold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
