Construction Labourer - Dunedin
Are you looking to start or further your career in construction? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Dunedin team as a Construction Labourer. This role offers hands-on experience working across a range of civil construction projects in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist with a variety of construction tasks on-site, including site preparation, material handling, and general clean-up duties.
- Operate basic tools as directed by supervisors and skilled tradespersons.
- Support skilled workers and project teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe workplace for yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to contribute to a positive, productive work environment.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or similar physical work is an advantage, but not essential.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and take direction.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour, often outdoors and in variable weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
- Work alongside experienced teams and develop industry skills on a variety of civil construction sites.
