The unit as a whole comprises 8 intensive care beds and 24 open ward beds.Mental Health inpatient units are essentially national resources, but all efforts are made to ensure clients from the West Auckland area that need our services are accommodated at Waiatarau.About the role We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to work alongside service users and families to develop awareness and knowledge of mental illness and to provide advice and support in regard to social and legal issues.
