Medcall is a leading healthcare agency that supplies non-clinical staff, caregivers and nurses to various hospitals, rest homes, aged care and community services across New Zealand. Many of our clients have large retirement villages with commercial kitchens, cafés, and laundries.

We are looking for RECEPTIONISTS to join our team of casual staff across the Kapiti Coast.

We offer flexibility to work around other commitments, and the ability to choose when and where you work.

We are looking for experienced Receptionists to:

• Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanour
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and other communications professionally and efficiently.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing mail, and maintaining records.
• Ensure the reception area is tidy, presentable, and reflects a positive image.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

You will need:

• Full NZ working rights (permanent residency or citizenship)
• 2+ years experience in a receptionist / administrative role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g. email, word processing)
• A professional and positive attitude & professional presentation
• The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
• Reliability, motivation & a knack for making people feel welcome
