Carpenter Needed

Top Job Limited is a building company located in Christchurch. We are looking for skilled and experienced carpenters to join our busy team.

Pay: $30 per hour

Your duties will include:

• Read drawings and plans to determine dimensions and materials required
• Plan how the work will be done using measuring and marking equipment
• Construct and install temporary structures and supports
• Cut and shape building materials using hand and power tools
• Construct the frame, joists, flooring, wall sheathing, etc.
• Install hardwood flooring, staircase, shelves, cabinets, windows, door trim, etc.
• Renovate and do repair work
• Explain steps, provide directions and answer questions about the construction processes to employees and subcontractors

Successful applicants will have:

• At least 2-year relevant experience
• Able to meet deadline and work under pressure
• Great work ethic and a hard-working attitude
• Can produce high quality work and focus on quality at all times

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
