- from conception to delivery and ongoing supportFun close-knit and supportive teamPermanent position based in Wellington at National Office, open to considering remote workers Mō te tūnga | About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Trainer to join us within our Infrastructure and Digital Assets group to support Corrections' strategic goals through design and delivery of learning solutions and advice to people who use our IT systems.We are looking for someone who is passionate about producing engaging and effective educational resources in an IT environment.
You'll enjoy both businesses as usual and project environments and you'll be able to contribute throughout the learning solution lifecycle including needs analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of training and resources.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceYou'll have a natural ability to connect with any audience including front-line staff, subject matter experts, project teams, managers, and peers.
You'll be comfortable working with groups face to face, assisting remotely and working independently to develop resources.To be successful in the role you will have:A very strong customer service ethic and an ability to create people-centric applications educationExperience of applying adult learning and educational techniquesThe ability to learn large and complex IT systems and explain how they work to othersWillingness to contribute to projects and influence othersStrong coaching and mentoring skillsA current Driver's License (Class 1) and be able to be away from home overnight on occasion as some travel around New Zealand is required.Utu ā-tau | SalaryThe midpoint of the salary range is $124,758 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $106,045- $149,710 per annum.
