Bay of Islands Marina Limited is looking for a proactive and organised Boatyard Administrator to support our busy Boatyard team at Opua Marina. This is a key role where your attention to detail, customer service skills, and financial acumen will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

As Boatyard Administrator, you’ll work closely with the Boatyard Manager to coordinate daily operations, manage administration and financial tasks, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. From invoicing and reconciliations to liaising with boat owners, you’ll be at the centre of a dynamic marine environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Manage debtor/creditor accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate administrative records
  • Support compliance, safety, and smooth workflow across the boatyard
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident working with numbers, accounting software, or marina systems
  • Previous experience in administration, finance, or a marina/boatyard setting is a plus
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a team-player mindset
Salary

The annual salary will be determined based on the experience of the suitable candidate.
