The Company Our client is a market-leading mixed cropping business operating across multiple states, specialising in wheat, barley and canola. They operate late-model John Deere machinery and modern precision ag systems.We are seeking experienced seeding staff to join their team for the upcoming program.
Positions Available1 x Senior Seeding Operator
- John Deere 9R 590
- 33t Bourgault 9950 tow-behind
- 60ft DBS bar
- John Deere 8R 310 with rock picker
- Progression to seeder (evening shift rotation)
- Seeding support and general farm duties
- Air seeding and pre-seeding preparation
- Rock picking, deep ripping, chisel ploughing, Kelly chaining
- Boom spraying and fertiliser spreading
- GPS and precision ag system operation
- Machinery setup, calibration and monitoring
- General servicing and preventative maintenance
- Workshop and property maintenance
- Supporting planting logistics (seed, fertiliser, fuel)
- Broadacre cropping experience
- Large-scale tractor and machinery operation
- Mechanical aptitude
- GPS guidance experience
- Ability to work extended hours during seeding
