We are on the lookout for an experienced and inspiring Centre Manager to lead our team at Silverstream Early Learning by Busy Bees. If you are a fully registered ECE teacher with a love for leadership, teaching, and creating meaningful connections, this could be your next exciting step.

This beautiful centre is licenced for 51 Tamariki and has 2 age appropriate rooms which lead out to their own outdoor areas.

As a centre manager you will lead with heart and purpose – supporting and guiding a team of passionate teachers. As well as being responsible for creating solid community relationships, compliance management, mentoring and driving exceptional standards of teaching, you will be an integral part of making decisions which will drive the future focus for the centre, both in terms of environment and education.

What we are looking for:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop, coach and lead a team to deliver exceptional learning opportunities
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • Superb communication skills both written and verbal with the capability of building strong and lasting relationships with families and the wider community
  • Initiative, desire and passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of Te Whariki
  • Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics
  • A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels
