Our Roadmarking division are proud to be leading a range of projects maintaining and enhancing road markings on roads, bridges and pathways across New Zealand. We currently require a reliable and motivated General Hand to help us deliver these assignments.
As a General Hand you will be involved in manual labouring duties. This could include:
- Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
- Working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to client requirements
- Being open and willing to develop your skill set and advance your career
- The role requires both night and day shift work, so the ability and willingness to work a flexible roster is essential.
**Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills**
You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you.- Hold a STMS certificate would be preferred but not essential
- Full Class 1 licence minimum, Class 2 a bonus
- Road marking knowledge and Civil construction experience desirable
- Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit
- Be reliable and hard working
- Have excellent verbal and written language skills and have the confidence to put forward ideas for productivity and quality improvements
- Have a willingness to commit to on the job learning and training opportunities to develop your skillset and career.
