Structural Steel Installer and Fabricator

Position: Full-time – Monday to Friday 7am – 4.30pm and occasionally on a Saturday by mutual agreement between both parties.

We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Installer/Fabricator to join our growing team. If you have 2+ years of experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work unsupervised, we want to hear from you!

• Install structural steel components and frameworks as per project specifications and plans.
• Travel to various sites around the Greater Wellington Region as required; overnight stays may be necessary for certain projects.
• Work efficiently and safely with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform rigging duties when required.
• Fabricate when required.

• 2+ years’ experience in structural steel installation.
• Full clean driver’s license.
• Rigging experience.
• Strong grasp of English to ensure clear communication.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Comfortable working unsupervised.
• Competent in Welding.

• First Aid Certificate.
• Site Safe Certificate.
• Team leading experience.
• Dogman Qualification.
• EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Certificate.
• HT (Heavy Transport) License.
• Welding Certificates.
