Courier Driver
Courier Driver, transport, and Administration (Permanent Part-Time, hopefully eventually growing to full time)
We are looking for a reliable and motivated courier driver to join our New Zealand Wide team currently located in numerous cities around New Zealand. We are expanding into queenstown lakes and we will be servicing Cromwell, Queenstown, Arrowtown, and Wanaka, Based out of Cromwell.
It involves receiving and checking off cargo sent from our Christchurch South Island Hub, or on occasion from our Auckland hub, then ensuring all the deliveries are completed accurately. Collection of cargo from Queenstown Lakes based customers, and the administration that goes with courier and light transport.
Because the current volumes change daily, the amount of time required to make those deliveries also changes daily. However, we will offer great renumeration and guarantee a minimum of at least 22 hours paid each week, even if you work less, worked across 4–5 days, Monday to Friday, but we expect the volumes to likely increase as it becomes known that we are operational in the area.
This is a permanent part-time role, and the successful applicant needs to understand it is not a seasonal position, so while we think it could work well for someone perhaps initially who already has some part time work, it will not be compatible with someone only wanting to work summer months for example.
There is strong potential for additional hours as the business grows and as we continue establishing operations in the Queenstown Lakes area. The role services Queenstown Lakes district at a minimum, so applicants must be comfortable driving throughout the region.
