As a Paediatrician in Palmerston North, you will share a 1:8 acute roster covering the broad gamut of acute paediatrics with a 14- bed level 2A neonatal unit taking babies 28 weeks gestation (1000g) and over.
The service is supported by dedicated Paediatric RMOs on site at all times.
You will enjoy a range of outpatient clinics in the hospital and the community.We are expanding innovative models of care in partnership with nursing and general practice.We enjoy excellent liaison with tertiary colleagues from Starship and Wellington, who all visit on a regular basis.

We are looking for someone who is energetic and complements the current skillset of our team of consultants.This role would suit an experienced Paediatrician or a consultant looking for their first consultant post.
We are happy to support advanced trainees in a provisional fellowship role too, and can cater role specifics to suit training needs.
