Passive Fire Installer / QA Coordinator - Christchurch

About the Role

You’ll be working closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance.

• Install passive fire systems including firestopping, fire-rated walls, and fire-resistant elements
• Conduct inspections and testing to verify compliance with fire safety regulations
• Apply grout and sealants as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and QA records
• Operate power and battery tools safely and effectively
• Follow health & safety protocols and promote a safe working culture
• Assist in other areas of the business as needed
• Out of town work may be required depending on project needs

• Proven experience in passive fire installation or related trades
• Strong understanding of NZ building codes and fire safety regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Certification or training in passive fire systems and QA is highly desirable
• Reliable, adaptable, and proactive with a “can-do” attitude
• Great communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain company vehicle
