DunedinFixed-term, full-time (1 FTE) opportunityContribute to transforming the future of health in this roleJoin a diverse team working in this dynamic environmentSalary between $81,226 - $85,758Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleAs the Executive Assistant you will be responsible for providing high quality, timely, executive and administrative support to the Group Director of Operations (GDO), through provision of advice, being a central point of contact for the team, and dealing appropriately with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.To be effective, it will be essential that you develop strong working relationships not only with the GDO, but with the Senior Leadership team, and kaimahi across the wider organisation.

You will be a highly skilled Executive Assistant who has experience supporting senior level positions, preferably within a health sector environment.You will also bring the following:Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite and a high degree of confidence and ability using technologyExcellent organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentialityExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior officials and with health sector leadersAn understanding of Māori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o WaitangiWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
