Bonnie Day Brewery Taproom Staff, Front and Back of House

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to join our small team. We have both front and back of house roles available. As a member of the Taproom team, you will be the face of Bonnie Day, ensuring every guest has a positive and welcoming experience.

We have a variety of roles available and are flexible for the right candidates:

Front of House:

Taproom staff

• Creating genuine, welcoming first impressions for every guest
• Pouring and serving beverages while engaging positively with customers
• Responsible service of alcohol
• Have strong knowledge of our food and beverages to confidently make recommendations and share knowledge (training provided)
• Maintain high presentation standards across the venue
• Handling transactions and operating the POS system
• Assisting with canning days and packing online sales

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Outgoing, friendly and approachable personality
• A passion for providing great customer experience
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Experience in the hospitality or beer industry is preferred, but we are more than happy to train anyone who shares our enthusiasm for getting good beer to good people
• Comfortable serving alcohol and adhering to our host responsibility policy
• LCQ and Managers Certificate advantageous

Back of House:

• Preparing food & developing the Bonnie Day Taproom menu. The kitchen currently runs a bar snack menu which will evolve with time. This flexible role will change with the right candidate so please get in touch if you any questions.
• Manage kitchen inventory & ordering
• Maintain high standards of food quality & hygiene

• Outgoing, friendly and approachable personality
• A passion for providing great customer experience
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Experience in a commercial kitchen essential, experience in pizza kitchen would be highly advantageous.

• Suitable experience in our industry and a can-do, proactive attitude
• Interest in beer and brewing with existing knowledge or the enthusiasm to learn
• Enthusiasm to grow with the role and business
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
