Screen Fabrication & Installation Assistant

Updateview Ltd, based in Manurewa, Auckland, is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Screen Fabrication & Installation Assistant. This is a full-time role supporting the production and installation of fly screens, insect screens, door and window screen systems and outdoor blinds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with fabrication of aluminium frames and mesh for fly screens and door/window screen systems
- Measure, cut, and assemble screen products under supervision
- Support on-site installation by preparing and carrying materials, holding screens in place, and basic fixing
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean workshop and help load/unload equipment and materials
Terms and Conditions:
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week minimum, 40 hours per week maximum
- Pay Rate: $26.50 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
- Work Location: Updateview Ltd workshop in Manurewa, Auckland, with on-site installations in the Auckland region
- Start Date: Immediate or by agreement
Minimum Requirements:
- NZ Driver license is essential
- No previous experience required, training provided on the job
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work in a team
