Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a major Kiwi business with branches across Aotearoa, and we're on the lookout for a Recruitment & Employee Engagement Advisor to join the People & Culture team in Dunedin.

This is a new kind of internal recruitment role — one where you'll still do the hiring but also roll up your sleeves to help create an awesome employee experience, from day one to their next career milestone.

What You'll Be Doing
  • End-to-end recruitment across all levels of the business.
  • Coaching managers to be better recruiters and running structured annual recruitment campaigns.
  • Helping ensure compliance (think licences and qualifications).
  • Redesigning the onboarding and induction experience
  • Supporting offboarding with care.
  • Driving engagement initiatives — from staff events and social stuff to calendars and newsletters.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to tell employee stories on social media.
  • Pitching in on training and broader People & Culture projects as needed.
We're Looking For Someone Who...
  • Has 2+ years' experience in recruitment (agency or internal)
  • Holds a diploma or degree in a business-related field
  • Is warm, helpful, calm and confident
  • Is discreet, diligent, and gets the admin side of recruitment (you'll need solid MS Office skills and be familiar with Seek, Trade Me Jobs and LinkedIn)
  • Communicates and organises like a pro
  • Is resilient, grounded, and ready to roll with the culture of a fast-paced business
  • Is a NZ citizen or permanent resident
The Details
  • Based in Dunedin
  • Office-based with some flexibility and occasional travel to other branches
  • Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri
  • Salary: $90K + the chance to do meaningful, people-focused work every day
